cheat code help

i'm attempting to use a cheat code for disgaea hour of darkness it's an action replay code and the base code for it is

Press L1+L2 to activate

using omniconvert i get
D025DC4A 0000FAFF
202A20C0 05F5E0FF

and in the system log i get
[wx] can't open file 'cheats\4d2cac9d.pnach' (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.)
can anyone help?

take the crc of the game (you will find it in conosle in the game information after the emulation ) name a txt with it so it will be xxxxxxxx.pnach tybe in it "game titile = xxxxxxxx "under it in new line " patch 1 = your code" but the txt in cheat folder in pcsx2 0.97 or patches on 0.96
