compatibly game doesnt work?

I am trying to get the game onimusha blade warriors to work since i know it is compatible but when i try to boot the game (full and fast) i just get a black screen. i tried the method of pressing the x button on black screen as suggested on this thread http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Onimusha-Blade-Warriors but i have add no luck. Can anyone give me some tips?

I'm using pcsx2 1.0.0 and i have a i5 3.2ghz with a radeon 7850 if it helps
