controller configuration problems

Alright, i've been trying to get my FFX to work for sometime but everything is going fine except for controller issues. Everytime i finish configuring my settings, my controller settings would immediately revert back to original, which is completely nothing. So I start my FFX iso, the game runs well, but i can't press any buttons because my controller settings keep getting changed back to normal.

I've tried both plugins to no avail. Is there a solution for my controller settings to be saved? I mean, the rest of my config settings are saved properly except for that

If you're running Vista, run PCSX2 as administrator. Sometimes there's problems with saving the configs because of not having the appropriate permissions.
