controller not responding

i have been using a ps2 controller for about a month and today it doesn't work on any of the games on pcsx2 but it's working on other games(it worked fine until now)
what can i do about it?

It is probably using XInput interface?
You have 2 solutions:

1.Restart your pc
2.Reconfigure the keys again when that happen(it can happen up to 4 times and then it will never happen again)
