converting value between types

hi is there any guide on how to converting hex value to float? in order to get it working on pcsx2?
im looking for some advanced guide to pnach so i can work with other games pnach that has advanced type of values
i already read almost every basic pnach creating guide in this forum and thats really helps me, but unfortunately what im looking for isnt there
