This high chance is more like 5% or so.
The problem is more pronounced when switching between 2 incompatible plugins.
I don't think we want to force a PCSX2 restart just for that, as it's way more inconvenient.

I would like to give this a try but AVX no longer listed in plugins I get a "This is not a valid dynamic library" error so AVX no longer listed

the plugins have been changed slightly to not load if the required instruction set is not present instead of crashing epically by trying to run on an unsupported cpu

i7 920, strange seeing i never crashed when i did use it but ok good to know

just meant you didn't use the aspects of the plugin that benefits from avx (Software mode)

First gen i7 dont support avx, I doubt there is any noticeable improvement though.
