all i'll say is get a proper power-supply, and saying dc charger is kind-of vague

pc's, even low powered ones need clean power, even if you got a small pc to run, chances are it would crash like flip, sorry Sad
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

What should be the difference between a dc powersupply and a 'psu'? Both are dc powersupplies....
If you buy a professional powersupply for laboratories you will probably end up having a better powersupply than anything else you can buy as 'psu'. But it would be as expensive as your remaining pc and probably as big. And if that is reasonable?

More important: How do you want to connect a non desktop-pc-powersupply to your mainboard?
