dualshock 3 issue
#1
hi

I'm trying PCSX2 on gentoo linux with the following issue:

If I run the program it works fine!

However, if I run the program after I've paired my dualshock 3 controller, it crashes. I managed to get the following from dmesg:

PCSX2[4642]: segfault at 0 ip 00000000f6286cf6 sp 00000000ffda4044 error 4 in libc-2.26.so[f61f9000+1d7000]

This happens if I try to launch a CD, if I try to edit the gamepad plugin configuration, etc.

Note: the program works fine when the controller is not connected via bluetooth. The issue persists even when connected using USB and bluetooth disabled.

Naturally, I want to use the emulator with my controller so this is currently preventing me from doing anything ; (

Here is a printout of the program log:

For troubleshooting info.. I use mednafen for PS1 and that works with my dualshock 3 on the same system using both USB and bluetooth.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Sincerely,
