emulator closes when opening any menu or starting a game
#1
Hello, I've recently downloaded 2.2.0 and when I try to start it, it crashes, I thought it might have to do with my BIOS or something, so I tried to change it but when I open any configuration it also crashes, I also tried older versions and tried 2.0.0 and 2.0.2, but they have the same problem. I've read other threads and many say to update vcreadists, so I did, but it did not work. Can anyone help me please and thank you?

I've attached the emu log because either the emulator is not producing crash logs or I can't find them

Check if you have 'C:\WINDOWS\USB Vibration' folder or something similar.

Also when it crashes there should be a crashlog file in the exe folder.

no crashlog in the exe folder and no USB vibration either, I do have DSHMC and DS4Windows if it's about USB and controller drivers

You said you changed your bios though.
You may have thus damaged your laptop if you installed a custom one
