RAM won't affect pcsx2 preformance.
but most of the time, unless you buy an expensive alienware, laptops aren't good for pcsx2

so i need an alien ware laptop or just a nicer desktop for smoother running? vs what i have now. i tried a few other games like red faction and dark angel and they seem to run at 45 fps

ok, got a new computer. 4 gigs of ram. and it doesnt have a disc drive so i have to run iso. i am still trying to get resident evil 4 to start up but it wont boot with the iso

Answered in your PM to me, you're trying to run a file from the iso, not the iso itself.
