ffx crash or freeze whatever in djose temple

When I played FFX I had no issues on r1888. Newer PCSX2 versions have been very buggy for me in general.
However, I think this might be an ISO issue.

a hint

NTFS compression works wonders on PS2 images without actually breaking the game.

Is the CD scratched at all? You know wear and tear tends to damage your CD. Like my FFX CD would always freeze after the Sinspawn Gui battle.

Some previous messages lead me to think something is being misunderstood by the OP.

When using GigaHerz OR Linus, the option in the GUI is always "Plugin", the "Iso" option is to be used only with the "Iso selector" and all plugins are in fact ignored on 0.98. In previous versions, having "Iso" selected and mounting the image in a plugin could cause the emulator to crash.

One side note: At this point you should not rely in your sstates anymore, before going to that problematic point, return to a normal save point, do a normal save on memcard, quit the emulator and reload from that last memcard save. Now you can make a new sstate and go ahead to that temple head up... Smile

Wait what is your settings? Like emulation settings and speedhack settings and the like. IIRC, one part you had to set to extra on the emulation settings and stuff.
