fifa 07 freezes at loading screen and crashes PCSX2

Hey guys, when i load up fifa 07 i get the EA sports fifa 07 logo and then the next screen is black with a small white LOADING on the bottom left corner and then everything freezes from here. PCSX2 crashes and i have to close all windows before opening again. Just wondering is there any potential fixes for this problem and apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.
Loading the game from an ISO if that matters. version 1.4.0

I have the same problem but my pcsx2 version is 1.6.0.

How can I fix it?
