final fantasy X problem

I can load the game, but its moving in really slow motion. FPS is incredibly low. I'll post my comp specs below, wondering if its just not strong enough or if theres anything I can do anything to speed it up (also on the latest version of ps2 emulator). Thanks

Also which version of PCSX2? The native mac version or the wineskin port?

Not too sure by the model, but I found it on the intel site

Everything is currently in default, I just finished downloading it today and played around with it, but nothing so I put it back into defaults. I have no idea =/

thats what confuses me, I've been reading and watching videos on the setup I can't seem to find the gs settings. Under my configure tab is
configure
graphics
sound
ect
