fluctuating game speed?

Hi! so I just got Pcsx2 yesterday and spent like an hour configuring everything until i got things running smoothly. so i played atv offroad fury 2 at 1080p 60fps for a good hour then Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks for another hour flawlessly. I booted it up today expecting it to work perfectly still, and its back to running between 40% - 100% game speed. mostly at 80% even though the frame rate is between 45-60 fps. Is there a way to lock the game speed at 100%? like, I don't mind if some frames get dropped, I just wanna play at 100% speed (which as I said it was working perfect for a couple hours yesterday). maybe its a problem in my hardware?

AMD CPUs are pretty culprit with emulation accuracy especially when several features are enabled on BIOS. Try to disable both AMD Core Performance Boost and also AMD Cool & Quiet feature on BIOS.

Also, no need to undervolt as other PC enthusiasts do, it just unnecessary. Enable MTVU hack for better FPS boost.
