I have tested skipdraw 0-100.
Unfortunately no change.

Well then there is probably nothing you can do other then using the software renderer.

Indeed, I thought as much.
Well I guess I'll remain optimistic In the hopes that this may be resolved in future builds.
If anyone else has heard of any other workarounds like the plugin switch, I'd be happy to know.
