gdsx 3693 looking for DX9.0c libiries on DX11
#1
im trying to install pscx2 on my pc and i keep getting this same problem when trying to continue with configuration:
"you need to update some directx libiries"

when i click yes it starts the installation and gives me:
"a cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. please verfiy the cryptographic services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is vaild"

then on pcsx it gives me:
"the selected GS Plugin failed to load"
reason: the plugin reports that your hardware or software/drivers are not suppoted.

i am tryin to use the
" GSdx 3693 (MSVC 15.00 SSSE3) 0.1.16" graphics driver.

my current processor and graphics card are:
core 2 duo E6750 @ 2.66GHz
nvidia GeForce 8600 GT

from what ive read i should be running the basics needed to play a game.
i also have directx 11 installed on windows 7.

ive no idea whats wrong. i can load ZeroGS and that will work but its very jumpy and choppy, im trying to get this other plugin to work since ive been told its the best.

any help greatly apreaicaited. Smile

launch the .exe file
it'll ask you where you want to extract the direct x files. choose a directory like c:\directx
once extracted, go to that directory (i.e. c:\directx) and launch dxsetup.exe
once directxx finished its installation, you can delete the c:\directx directory and try again with pcsx2
