getting the emulator to read my usb

So I have the emulator running, and I have action replay max playing, but the game won't read my usb stick, I was wondering how do I get the emulator/game to recognize the usb stick?

We don't support USB emulation so that won't work.

nearest we have is fake usb keyboard emulation im afraid, if someone is nice enough to make a usb bridging plugin (like virtual machines such as virtualbox have) then you can have such functionality but until hell freezes over that day, its a no go
