hello,it seems that pcsx2 team finally made it and now we can play god of war 2 in hardware mode without the green background.But i have a problem.I use pcsx2 0,96 r-984 with the speed hacks on.I use x3 cycle rate and the all the speed hacks from the right side of the window.I also use the vu cycle stealing that comes with 984 version in its first state(i don't mean it is off).For my graphics i use the gsdx 962 plugin in dx10 hardware mode.I can play god of war 2 but when i fight the collosus for the 1st time and when i am asked to push some buttons that appear on the screen(i am talking when kratos destroys collosus right eye),then my pcsx2 window goes black and i can't see anything.the sound is still playing and then on the pcsx2 screen it says that kratos died and i have to play again.
I am running windows vista plz help me,i want so much to play this game.

This part, which DarkDante mentions is fully playable for me and I think everyone got past the Colossus, so it's kind of strange.. Try to mess with the speedhacks, turn some of them off and see if you get past this point.. Another thing you could do is to try out with a previous revision of the same plugin, although I'm almost sure this wouldn't help much...
What are your PC specs and which version of the game do you have? NTSC or PAL? If you answer this, someone could give you more hints how to solve the problem..

i am using pal version and i have an intel core 2 quad q9300,2gb ram and an 9600 gt 1gb.

Well, I have the NTSC import, so I can't help you much, because I don't have the opportunity to try the PAL version. I've heard that the PAL version has much more problems than the NTSC. The NTSC crashes on some movies and if you get past them, you will finish the game. I think you should wait for a future revision of the emu..
