gran turismo 4 graphic problems
#1
I´m having some problems running gt4 on my laptop, some things ingame are very pixelated, like cars in the shops and selection menus, and most of the 2d things like menu backgrounds.
The game runs pretty well, I have no fps drops or slow-motion problems.

I have pcsx2 1.2.1 (newest version) and the game is ISO, not a dvd.

My specs:
cpu: intel core i7 2670QM quad-core (2.2 GHz, 3.2 with turbo boost)
gpu: nvidia geforce gt540m (2gb)
ram: 8gb ddr3
os: win7 64-bit

"Pixelated" ?
If you are running on native resokution, that´s pretty normal.
But i highly doubt your laptip will be able tonrender things at a higher res without fps drops.
But if you wanna try, you can increase internal res and set it to 2x native
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

No, not native res. I´m using custom resolution (1600x900) and here´s a screenshot:

As you can see, the car and the background is pixelated, and everything else looks good.

Do you have Texture filtering off?. If so turn it on.
Also, use DX10/11 Mode if not using.

Texture filtering is on, and I´m using dx11 (hardware) already...

Just to be sure, set texture filtering to checked state (not half state, squared but ticked)
Does it persists when using 3xNative instead of custom res or pcsx2 1.0.0?

I have these same problems on 2xNative on a fairly recent SVN, but it never bothered me enough to try an fix it.
