graphics is f*** up and the game is so slow ?

hey i have pcsx2 on mac
i downloaded romance of the three kingdom and tried 2 play it first it was fine then the main menu start to get laggy 20 frame speed
then when i start the game and the map was completly f**** up i can only see pixels
why ? is there any help
