help needed with Battle Gear 3 black screen

Just tried pcsx2-5288-windows-x86. Same results. So I probably need a hacked gsdx?....

try aggressive crc hack in gsdx...found in hw hacks section...

Nope, you just need to wait for an unknown amount amount of time until that game becomes playable for PCSX2.
Frankly, it's not even in the compatibility list

if you really need to play that particular game, open google and search for gsdx cutie...but if you got problems with that plugin don't ask for help here, ask the plugin creator instead...

the hw hacks section can be found in gsdx...in svn version of pcsx2 you just downloaded, not in official latest build 0.9.8

N.47 made the Battle Gear 3 pnach and I turned it into a raw code to use on a real ps2.
Thanks everybody.
Both Battle Gear 3 and Ridge Racer V now run in true 16:9 on my ps2.
The next time that I am going to try and run BG3 on pcsx2 again is when I have a good pc. You have been great with the support and tips.
