help optimizing emulator

CPU: i5-5300u
gpu intel graphics hd 5500


having issues running games they drop down to 23-30% when running and I just need hep optimizing settings for it to run smoother.

Keep in mind your CPU barely reaches the minimum requirement, and so does your GPU

yes sir i understand that,I wanted to start playing games on my laptop for the time being 

I do have a ps2 with mcboot on a memory card coming so i can play games that way if my laptop wont cut it.

Forget about Ratchet and Clank series.
Those are maybe the most demanding gzmes

so would it be better to just try those with the actual ps2 and the mcboot card??

you'll get more luck than with your current PC, yes.
you on't need mcboot card to make games work, btw. just pop your dvd in and you're fine.
unless you bought them in a different version from your console's region
