does anyone has a benchmark or comparison between the i7-3770k and the i7-4770k running pcsx2?
According to passmark cpu benchmark there shouldn't be much of a difference, but how about pcsx2?
Has someone tested this?

You can expect almost the same results, intel did nothing impressive since sandybridge and it wont change with the nexts chips.

yea unfortunately I can't get my 2500k higher than 4,1ghz and the cpu became a bottleneck in many PC games now, especially GTA V.
So that's why I'm considering updating it to a i7-3770k since my motherboard supports it and I don't have to buy a new motherboard.
I'll probably wait for a new MBO when intel actually releases a new generation of CPUs with a significant performance boost

~8fps faster over the 80fps cap is actually not that much. although, the opening FMV can't really be used as an benchmark since there is almost no 3D vertex processing,
means VU's and GS have nothing to do and there's only 1 thread active out of 3 or 4.
I'd like to see how those CPU's accomplish 3D scenes, also is there one for dolphin?

Obviously, haswell > sandy/ivy bridge. though, The 3770K will achieve higher clock speeds in overclocking compared to the haswell unlocked variants. If you prefer saving your money then, the 3770K will be the best route.
