is there a way to control pcsx2 menu with gamepad?

just curious.. i get all comfy on my couch to play some pcsx2 then when i want to switch games i have to get up to manually change discs. a minor issue yes but other emulators such as snes9x i can just push a button on my gamepad to escape to menu, and select a new game without having to get up. is it possible to do this with pcsx2?

Short answer: No

Not so short answer: you can always press the "Esc" key in your keyboard to go back to the main menu.

You can try using a program called Xpadder. It basically emulates your keyboard/mouse, unless you're using all your buttons on the gamepad to play a certain game, it could be done. Just google it.
