issue "assertion failed"

i got this issue trying to play a mod of kh2 and while trying i couldn't start the game, the emulator just starts normally but then i got this massage:

Please post your emulog to provide more info.
You could redump your original disk and re-apply the mod again, perhaps something went wrong; as your error reads like there's some data corruption on whatever it's trying to read game from.

does it work without the mod ?
