lag while fighting perseus in gow 2

while fighting perseus in gow 2 there is this wierd black thing that made the game slows down look at the screenshots, can someone please tell me how to fix this? im using pcsx2 1.7.3073

This problem still persist on the most recent versions. It can be fixed by activating "Manual Hardware Renderer Fixes" under the rendering tab, to fix the ghosting issue in gow 2, go to the upscaling fixes tab, then set half pixel offset to Special (Texture) and round sprite to half, also check align sprite. The option that is causing that issue it's in the hardware fixes tabs specifically it's auto flush that is causing that glitch.

edit: deactivating auto flush causes a bunch of lighting glitches
