hi i just downloaded pcsx2 a few days ago and i am trying to run ff12 i have configuered it by the offical guide and when i go to try and run it i get a Failed loading MemoryCard from file: memcards\Mcd001.ps2 and Failed loading MemoryCard from file: memcards\Mcd002.ps2. this happens if i change the name of the card or unselect the boxes so that it will run with out a card.

did you also change the name in the config if you renamed the cards?

yes i have tried changeing the names under the config menu

if you leave them at default does it still present the same problem?

yes it shows it what ever i do.

have you entered the bios and formatted them?

i have copyed the bios into the folder i haven't done anything else though

bios goes into /bios and then you need to run that bios (with CDnull) and format the cards
