metal gear solid 2 substance

how can i get mgs2 substance running at full FPS i have the new HP ENVY it has 3rd Gen Intel® CoreTM i5-3210M processor,2.5GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz, Windows 8 Home Premium.
6GB DDR3 SDRAM,Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive,Intel® HD Graphics 4000.
750GB hard drive (5400 rpm),Multiformat media reader,Built-in high-speed wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n),Built-in 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN.

I am kind of new to the whole emulator scene as well

so i would really appreciate the help

by geting a decent gpu.
that HD4000 will be a serious bottleneck
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

Downside of a Laptop he won't be able to get a new GPU, but are you sure it doesn't have a dedicated Graphics Card solid? Envy is quite expensive and I can't think that it only has the 4000.

Notebooks/laptops aren't ideal for playing PCSX2, and MGS2 is definitely one of the more difficult games to try emulating... What are your EE/GS/VU percentages when you are hitting slow downs?
