metal gear solid 3 runs slow

Hey everyone. I have an issue playing metal gear sold 3 snake eater on the pcsx2 emulator. It runs very slow no matter what setting that I choose. .I have a new laptop that I got for Christmas and it moves fast and  it has windows 10 so idk why it moves slow? any suggestions on what I should do?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Yeah, I hate to give you the bad news but that cpu is nowhere near powerful enough.

Mostly likely happens only with the 80 GB PS3 since the PS2 "emulator" is running off the PS3 itself, not the Emotion Engine that 20GB & 60GB models had - Basically full-emulation.

Wouldn't know though, still don't have a PS3 to this day & refuse to buy that pos 40 GB model.

Ok thanks. So my computer is too weak to run the game is basically what your saying? So there is nothing I could do to make it run better?
