intel speedstep will be in the bios, You can access most BIOS by holding the Del key while the computer is booting up. Other possible setup keys include F10, F2, and F12.

Ooohh haha that makes way more sense. I'm used to systems a few years older than the one I'm currently using. Before this computer I've never owned a brand new one. All the others are used. I'll give a look at the speedstep and report back with my findings

then disable the speed step and give it a try whether it gives a speed up.

It still plays at about 90 fps without the speedstep enabled and no speedhacks

Well, enavle framelimiting, and problem solved ?

So framelimiting isnt working.
Maybe you enavled turbo mode ?
