my pcsx2 emulator starts off with low fps...

Buy a more powerful laptop (if mobility is important to you) or build an even more powerful PC. A 2ghz dual core and integrated graphics won't get you anywhere

Ahh ok thnx man, guess I'll have to settle for all the other emulators then lol, I'm surprised my ps1 emulator plays good...

The main CPU in a PS2 is 10x as fast as the one in a PS1.

On my i3 530 the NTSC version's FMVs run at 40 fps with all kind of speedhacks.
