my xbox controler isn'tworking

hello, i have been trying tu use my xbox contrôler on the pcsx2. i have seen all tutorials and done exactly as it said. even so, i cannot use it.
i think it doesn't recognise my controller because in the device diagnostics it does not appear. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!
