it probably is a problem with the ISO file, probably his disc was damaged someway...

If you get that even if you do System > Boot CDVD (fast), then your iso is faulty.

re-create your ISO using Imgburn and try again.

use gigahertz's DVD plugin and point it to your DVD drive letter
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
