desktop i3s have hyper-threading, so you CAN benefit from MTVU

hmm this is confusing one guy say an i3 cant MTVU and the other says it can. and yes it has 2 cores and 2 threads

i3's with hyperthreading CAN make use of MTVU, but the i5's can make better use of it. Hyperthreading only does so much, you still have 2 cores at the end of the day.

okay thanks man ill go for the i3 as i will up to a better cpu+gpu in a year so this will be fine till then

Doesn't matter though. He should still be able to see it in his plugin list, regardless of it being a custom GSdx build.


@OP - make sure you have it in the correct plugin folder. (Check whether the plugin folder is set to My Documents, or the PCSX2 root directory, and then confirm the GSdx plugin is in that very same folder).

yeah man its placed in the correct folder
