that video card is a gddr2~3 type card....that upgrade is not enough
a gddr5 type card shall do the trick start w/ HD 5570~above

and that AMD need to be change to Intel-i at 3.2Ghz in order to pass the Recommended.

im already running final fantasy x good.when i put it on 2x native it lags just a little bit,i kno final fantasy doesnt need that much to run.im trying to play resident evil 4,metal gear, devil may cry,and the graphics look pretty bad and slow

here is the one im thinking about
xfx radeon HD 6750 700Mhz 1GB DDR5 HDMI
as long as its a ddr5 i should be good?what about the mhz?

this is better because it has a thousand Gflops than the mimimum gddr5 card the HD5570
"Mhz" can be considered as Gflops.

it's better to have the gddr5 than the lower class gddr cards...if you are managed to play other rich/demanding games like you chose RE4,MGS,DMC.....in addition to Skyrim.

so i should be good with the graphics and fps with that one.so 2x native and up shouldn't be a problem at all?this model has a heatsink instead of a fan.that doesn't matter does it?

games like RE4 and DMC (of the capcom fraction) are a lil demanding on the CPU but work really good with MTVU. dunno about MGS. this up to others to post. Tekken series is known to be very CPU & GPU demanding. better invest into a better CPU and a GPU then.

tekken5 is a "Megathrust" demanding and your AMD and chosen HD6750 won't survive this
you need to upgrade everthing into the Maximum stage..otherwise you must OC your CPU to 5Ghz and video card in a Super-OC class.

Quote:Maximum Requirement. :
i7 Extreme series unlocked by 5Ghz and gddr5~ Super-OC edition video card or Nvidia GTX-Ti Super-OC edition and excess of 256-bit bandwidth

If you're concerned for PCSX2 performance of a graphics card, memory bandwidth is the major factor. You can compare memory BW (it's the last column) of different cards in this handy site (thanks rama):
