what do you mean try to run it from original disc ? how do i do that ?

insert your physical dvd in your dvd reader and select "system->start disc"

your disc may be faulty, then
did it show any error when dumping it ?
did you use imgburn to do so ?

because imgburn is known to be efficient when it comes to making an iso off your DVD
