no xp doesn't support dx10. To use dx10 u need windows vista or windows 7.

P4 HT @ 3.0Ghz
3 gb DDR2-533 RAM

If you're still using XP, then I suggest upgrading to windows 7 RC.
AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.6GHZ, 4GB PC8500 @ 1100MHZ, 4870x2 @ Stock.
