Can i post how users can check their pc specs in hardware/software discussion thread ,if they don't know about their pc specs?

Feel free to go ahead , personally I wouldn't bother since most of the people have a basic knowledge on hardware. Though there might be some people who don't even know that yet....

Well, it gives you a bit of experience on writing guides so I don't see any reason to not do it.

The problem is, your thread will get ignored by the majority. You could write it up somewhere online and link it in your signature, then point people to that if they need to check their specs.
