pcsx2 0.9.6 stops working on vista
#1
I have a AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz with 3GB of ram running Windows Vista Business SP2. My directX version is 11 and I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics card. I run the rom and the screen sets up but seconds later I get a vista pop-up saying it has stopped working and that I have to close the program. The same settings and iso works on my laptop but I wanted to play it on this PC thinking it might run faster. I've tried using all the graphics and sound options but no luck. I'm wondering if there's any way to fix this? This log might help:

vtlb miss : addr 0x47610, mode 0 is in red and I think is the problem.
Also, if I don't mount the iso then it moves on to show the ps2 browser and system settings menu. If I put the actual game into my dvd drive and run from it, it seems to work.

Try remaking the ISO, I suggest using ImgBurn for this. Also make sure you use the Linuz Cddvd plugin and make sure you don't mount the ISO anywhere else.
