pcsx2 64 bit - audio works but screen stays black
#31
@cioswqk, don't worry life is more important anyway. Good luck for your study.

@jaylittle
Code:
svn checkout http://pcsx2.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ pcsx2-read-only
cd  pcsx2-read-only
./build.sh

If a winows pop and the screen stay white it is a segmentation fault. I would need a gdb backtrace. I attached a patch to backport the fix to zzogl-pg-cg (aka 3.0).

Tried the patch - still get a black screen with 0.3.0 on the Intel HD4000. Oh well, thanks for trying!

Hum, code was clearly wrong but I'm afraid there is a driver bug. I got an access to a SB system, I generate a trace of all opengl calls from it and try to replay it on several computers. The rendering of the trace is correct on my AMD GPU but remains dark on intel one. Which version of mesa did you try? 9 or 8

I'm running Mesa 9.0. On Arch I'm pretty much using cutting edge versions of everything:

extra/intel-dri 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/xf86-video-intel 2.20.12-1 (xorg-drivers xorg) [installed]
extra/intel-dri 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/libegl 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/libgbm 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/libgl 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/libglapi 9.0-1 [installed]
extra/mesa 9.0-1 [installed]
