pcsx2 configuration help

Hi, can you help me with my configuration. I want to run pcsx2 smoothly on my PC. Here's my specs:

Athlon II x3 2.9ghz
4gbRAM
ATI Radeon HD 4250 700mb
Directx9

please let me know if there are specs you need to know..tnx guys!

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your specs - Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

sorry I forgot to include my OS. Mine is Windows XP 32bit and I want to play GodofWar 1&2 and to be straight I want to play all ps2 games if that's possible. well I want to play it from DVD and ISO both and I don't know which version of pcsx2 to use because I don't know where to start with. Anyway, thanks for your relpy guys.
