pcsx2 is all of a sudden slow

Are you running any other application at the same time? Or you might have installed tons of apps that eat up cpu usage.

Also check CPU and GPU Usage and Temp.

i don't have anything running that eats cpu usage, my cpu idles at 1-2%. i tried lowering res, that helps a little, but still slow.

By the way, unless your CPU is penta-core (which i doubt), extra rendering threads should be set to 3 instead.

Wow, That fixed it! i had texture filtering on wrong setting, and shade boost enabled. changed it exactly how you have it and it runs full speed again! Thank you so much!

you know what, i tried putting my resolution back up to ware it was before, 1440x900 (my display res), but it started lagging. so i tried to update my vid drover, i had the latest. so i ROLLED BACK my vid driver, and presto! it works at 60fps on highest resolution my screen can handle. weird, it's like amd drivers are getting worse, not better.
