ya true squall socket 939 is waayy back...and to make matters worse, there arent any newer ones either..

Doesn't matter really who's right and who's wrong.
The socket's outdated anyways so the best way to get better speeds is to upgrade to an Intel processor because they perform well with PCSX2.


EDIT*:You might want to get a new Graphics Card too since it's out-dated too.
If you ever think of upgrading then just know that you'll have get a whole new system because this one is pretty old and barely meet today's standards.

oh, newcastle brought it to 939

the 939 variants are slower than 754 however.

another reason i hate amd these days, deceptive branding.
