Don't run PCSX2 through a virtual machine... The emulator is already extremely demanding as it is. Look into installing Bootcamp if you wish to run PCSX2 even remotely well.

By the way, I'm pretty sure your CPU is clocked at 2.24, not 24.4. xD

This. PCSX2 is very demanding, CPUs at twice the clock rate have problems with many games. Couple that with playing the emulator non-natively... You can try the Mac port instead, though it's a lot less up to date... Otherwise your best bet is to install bootcamp and get into windows properly.

Heat is a by-product of pushing your hardware. It's something that happens with PCSX2 because of how demanding of an application it is. The only real solutions for a laptop are to change your energy settings so that your CPU runs below it's top speed (at the cost of slower PCSX2 performance) or getting a cooling pad which will blow extra air on your computer.

The cooling pad is probably the better solution, but it will add bulk if you play pcsx2 while traveling.

highly possible.
or you could just post the emulog.txt you got after that crash to let us know if it was a pcsx2 problem, game problem, or computer problem.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Hey

I am using pcsx2 1.0.0

and i can't find the emulog.txt file at all

this is what happens when i play crimson tears

everytime i hit something the game stalls for a few seconds and then begins normally again

but when i just walk around in the game and talk to people the game is fine

so what could be wrong then

thanks
