pcsx2 problem, game to slow
#21
just a thought, try one of the older revisions http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php as sometimes the newer revisions work slower than the older ones on older machines (i still use 5649 as i have a lot of save states

the svns don't need installing, just unzip, put your bios in the bios folder and set your joypad up, the rest sets itself up

theirs also the latest svns at the top of the page which may or may not solve the issues your having

good luck
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z

Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

maybe Wink he'll just have to try, tbh i've found some versions work better than others with different games, it's about cherry picking which works best

Try running GPUz and seeing it your gpu stays underclocked or not when running the emulator because that may be the cuase of this whole issue

when it's native x something it's even slower.

you asking to much from the aging cpu some games are just more heavy on the system. Choices are play it on your ps2, get new pc or use speedhacks EE/VU which could speed up the game but will break things and give you false fps numbers among other things breaking
