I recently downloaded the PCSX2 emulator and it crashes after like 10 minutes of gameplay, im playing ffxii, ive already tried downloading vcredist and directx

Please post the emulog after the crash. It can be either found under documents/pcsx2 or in the program directory of pcsx2 in the logs folder.

Please monitor ram usage slightly before the crash.

if it crashes after roughly 10 minutes of gameplay, i would guess SPU2-X is set to XAudio2. You could try Portaudio (you will possibly need to tick Exclusive Mode under its config) or DirectSound.
