pcsx2 running ffx-2

so i got the pcsx2 v1.0 and i got a bit of a problem, the things is if i use the hardware mode in the gs plugin the screen goes black if soft ware mode i do see the picture but with problems like the previous screen still shows and blinking and here is what written in the program log

i know that my specs are a bit of out dated, i do too know that i cant rune ffx-2 in full as like im playing in ps2 but i just want at least a reasonable speed in gameplay and fmvs

btw the ffx-2 that i got is the usa version and i just what to know what will be the best over all configs. to run the game thnx and more power

With that gpu, you wont have any other choice than using software mode.
And unfortunately, there's no way your pc will be able to handle this game in software mode @ pkayable speeds.

Better keep playing it on your ps2 for now...

"a bit outdated" is a pretty big understatement. Those specs were low end when they came out over 7 years ago.

As for "reasonable speed in gameplay and fmvs", the FMVs in this game are actually amongst the most straining on the system, so much so that we actually have a thread that's dedicated to using the game to bunchmark CPUs.

ikr i just dont want to use the word "too outdated"

anyways so i guess i wont be able to play at reasonable speed eh? Sad
