pcsx2 suddenly stopping to work

hi,my pcsx2 is suddenly stopping to work......i used it to play god of war and it worked very well...everything was going fine but suddenly after i reached to a certain place in the game i received a message that my software isn't working.......i restarted the game and i received the same message again at the same place.........please help me
