pcsx2 won't start disc games on new version

hey there, on the new version of pcsx2 (v1.7.2834) for some reason when i click ''start disc'' nothing happens, i have my disk in the drive so idk what im doing wrong

for anyone wondering the game is fifa 11 and it worked on older versions of pcsx2.


i also tried with other games but got the same result.
