pcx2 0.9.4 problem

hey people,
i am new to this software and somehow i managed to install the bios.
but the real problem is that when i load an iso, it takes 5-6 seconds and then a small pcx2 screen appears, but then nothing happen, the the small scx2 screen also dissapears and the software suts down.
please help
